Christmas Tree
After the talk at Open Doors ended last Saturday, we rushed home to collect the food that Barb was taking to the office Christmas party. Cookies and a delicious middle eastern salad. I took Barb and Luke to that party then came home and crashed.
When they came home, we got the Christmas tree out of the garage, dusted off last year’s harmattan dust, and got it set up and decorated. It may be the earliest we’ve ever set up the tree … it seems that everything about Christmas is starting early this year. But Luke was pressing us to get it set up and he loves it so much so we went ahead and did it early. Then we turned off the lights, got cozy, watched the falling dust, sat under the fans set on high, and celebrated with bottles of cold Coke.
