Kids’ Doc in Jos

Little Kizito died last night after 43 days on admission. He was a year old and weighed 3.5 kg (7 lb 11 oz). He was one of our Spring of Life HIV+ patients, being treated for TB, but he just never seemed to improve despite all the treatments we could give him including, in the end, antiretrovirals (and it was probably too late for those, anyway). The last few days, my prayers had changed from “please heal him” to “please, Lord, heal him soon or let him go to you soon” and now he has gone.
