Zion
Got a new baby today … Zion! He’s 7 months old, cute as a button, maybe a tiny bit thin and with a cold but otherwise seems to be in great condition. We’ll be keeping him until an adoption can be arranged. For reasons buried somewhere deep in the social services bureaucracy, foster parents can only be people who cannot qualify as adoptive parents, which for now means foreigners such as ourselves are prime candidates.

Hello… I see this entry is fairly old but for some reason I have come across this page, I was wondering how is Zion?? Did he find a loving family yet?

Zion went back to his mother and her family, but it’s not what we would think of as a good situation humanly speaking. Rather dysfunctional. As you came across this page and wondered about Zion, perhaps God is moving you to pray for him and his family? Good!
