Zoo
Just a few notes on the week …
I did take Luke to the zoo last Sunday, keeping my resolution to spend some time with him after working all day Saturday. We had a good time. He especially liked tossing peanuts to the (very ugly) stork.
Monday to Friday was taken up with an excellent workshop on pediatric HIV/AIDS. I learned a lot, and have a lot of check boxes scattered through my notes, representing things I need to attend to as far as improving our own program. I was blessed to have a capable resident running things on the pediatric service all week long, so I could concentrate fully on the workshop.
Our latest foster baby, now named Lydia, is doing fine. She’s 11 days old and very agreeable, “low maintenance,” though who knows, colic usually kicks in after the first couple of weeks of life.
