Steroids in bronchiolitis may decrease recurrences of wheezing

Randomized placebo controlled trial Only rhinovirus and RSV infections were considered. The group receiving prednisolone had significantly fewer relapses of wheezing in the 2 months following admission, from 56% in the placebo group to 22% in the treatment group.
