The Pediatric ICU at Evangel is a room with six or seven beds and a desk for the nurse. What makes it "intensive" is, most importantly, that one nurse can watch the patients most of the time.

The PICU also has on hand oxygen, basic respiratory support, IV fluids, and emergency medicines.
