It’s one thing to hear how we old-timers see life in Nigeria and at Evangel, but how does it all appear to someone arriving for the first time? Barbara Esselink is a fourth year American medical student visiting Evangel for a few weeks. Her husband Frank is helping with the youth camp ministry. Check their blog for a interesting insights and first impressions. This latest entry tells about a very sick child arriving in the ER, and how things are handled so differently here. And what to make of the very different attitudes towards death, urgency, and work in general?
